WHAT'S HAPPENING ON 22ND OCTOBER

Well I thought I'd best update you all on some of the things happening at this years Chat N Snap.

First off the display will be a Brownie and Scout Jamboree. So you are all invited to add one Sasha, Gregor and Toddler , dressed in their brownie, scout or cub uniforms to the setting.

The display with have a outdoor theme , with camp fire , tents etc.

Here are some of my girls wearing brownie uniforms by Ginny from A passion for Sasha. I managed to get some great belts from Brenda Walton at a bargain price., so they now need a few badges and a tweak here and there. Next up will be some scout uniforms and a cub one.
If anyone finds a good source for these items please share in the comments.

Also this year we will have a Dolly Adoption table. This will be a table where members , who are not having a sales table , can leave up to three Sasha/Gregor or Babies, that they wish to sell. There will be a £1 fee per doll (all money to Charity ) to wait on the table. Please tie a tag to your dolls, with details and price and your name so that anyone interested can come and find you.
All sale's will be between you and the seller.

I have already received some great outfits for Gregor and will be showing them  in the next couple of weeks , along with items received for the second raffle.

  1. Love the Adoption Table idea - and Erica can come back for a visit in her brownie uniform!

  2. We too have a Brownie uniform although who gets to wear it on the day will be another matter though guessing that it might involve a few verbal or physical scrabbles between the girls in the meantime.
As I mentioned on the phone yesterday, when I heard about it, the idea of a doll sales table is a super idea. Might even have a candidate or two.

  3. What about Girl Guide uniforms? As for badges do you mean cloth badges or metal badges? If anyone has a good embroidery machine they could programme it to make some mini badges which could be carefully cut out and stitched onto the uniform by hand. Mini metal badges might be harder, though I have a pair of Girl Guide earrings which might be the right scale.

    1. Yes Girl guides, cubs, scouts, brownies etc. I was thinking of trying the mini embroidery machine or hand. I have some small metal pins which I can use also.
It will be interesting to see how everyone achieves the look :)
