RAFFLE PRIZES ARRIVING

Well I've had a lovely week with parcels arriving for the raffle. Today a large box arrived ! I was racking my brain wondering if I had ordered something and then I spotted the senders details.

It was from the lovely Ken and Doreen, so I opened it to see what gifts they'd sent us and found this wonderful sight!

Sasha clothes stands !

Ken and Doreen had included a stand for Hattie ( they have a mutual love fest going ) but she's insisting on paying and is also eyeing up a possible second purchase!
I will put one of these into the raffle and the others will be for sale with the money added, as suggested by Ken and Doreen.

Also arriving this week

These two lovely outfits from Diane Dailey .

and this T shirt dress from Carol in Canada.

When Ginger sent the doll included was this Karen Warnaka dress for the raffle.

I have another couple of items which I will show later this week.

Tomorrow I'll show Greg and the new items that have arrived for his trunk.

Many Thanks to everyone whose sent in or is bring raffle items and also thanks to Mary for her generous donation to the charity .

A SHOE BOX CHRISTMAS APPEAL

I am hoping that those attending this years Chat N Snap would like to join me in filling some shoes boxes for the Samaritans Purse Christmas Child appeal.

Below are that details of whats allowed in the boxes.

The boxes need filling with new items only and can be clothes, toys, school supplies, hygiene items. You can't include liquids or lotions, bubbles, food.

Wrap the box and lid separately so it can be checked and secure with elastic band. Then label with category- Boy or girl Aged 2-4 years Aged 5-9 years Aged 10-14 years

Also need to include £3 donation for air mail.
I thought we could use some of the money raised to cover the £3 postage costs for any boxes we managed to fill. So  I would be interested to hear if   1/ you like this idea and 2/ if you can bring something along to go into a box.

Also if enough people are happy to support this a few covered shoe boxes would be handy!

I look forward to hearing your response to this,

Thanks

Dee

A shy young Gregor will be looking for a new home at the Chat n Snap , he's hoping people will buy some tickets so he'll get a new mum.

He's so shy , he's not told me his name! He says he'll only tell his new mum!

Very smart in his cord overalls and red scarf , he'll only have eleven days to wait to go to his new home.

Many Thanks to Petrana for this wonderful generous donation to the raffle.

1ST OCTOBER

Only twenty one days to go!!!!! Sorry to say I have been very bad with this blog for this years event comes of life getting in the way.
So lets get some info out there!.

Please bring a prize for the raffle if you are able, always good to have a nice spread of prizes, as all profits from this event go to worthy charities.

The display this year is a Brownie, cub, rainbow Jamboree, so please bring a Sasha, Gregor or toddler dressed  to attend.

There will be a table for those people who are NOT having a sales table to display up to three dolls ( Sasha or Gregors, toddlers and babies ) that they would like to have adopted. there is a £1 fee payable for this, for charity pot. If you want to use this service , you will need to tag your doll, with price, and details and your name , so that anyone interested can come and find you to speak about the doll.
Please do not carry round dolls you may be considering as this would be unfair to the seller, if the dolls missing from the table for hours only to be returned later. Please note dolls left on table will not be policed as all Sasha collectors are honest people and known to each other. If you don't want to leave the doll there , you can leave a card with your details and people can come find you to look at the doll.

Food and drink will be available as usual, we do not supply food for people with any dietary needs,so please bring your own food with you, this is a service  kindly run for us by my daughter and other family members , so that we can enjoy ourselves without having to volunteer and then miss out on chatting and snapping! If you can please also bring a cup or mug which will save on washing up and me trying to find enough cups for all.
There will be cups for those who forget or are traveling along distance.

If you have not yet paid for your ticket can you do so. If you would like a ticket a few are still available , so please contact me.

This years, other featured doll will be the Muller Wichtel's which have become popular with some of our group. So if you have one or more please bring them along, so others can see them.

Keep checking for any other info.

see you all very soon

Dee
